What You’ll Need
Before you begin, make sure you have:- Your Citi Online User ID and Password
- Your Citi credit card account number
- Your bank account and routing number (for the account you’re paying from)
- The payment amount you plan to send
Method 1: Pay Through Citi Online
The most common way to pay your Citi bill online.1
Sign in to Citi Online
Visit www.citi.com and log in with your User ID and Password.

Go to the Payments section
From your dashboard, click Payments or Make a Payment.

Choose your card
Select the Citi credit card you want to pay.

Enter payment details
Choose:
- Payment amount (minimum due, statement balance, current balance, or custom)
- Payment date (today or a future date)
- Payment source (linked bank account)

Review and submit
Confirm the details and click Submit Payment. You’ll receive a confirmation number and email receipt.

Open the Citi Mobile App
Sign in with your credentials or Face ID / Touch ID.

Tap Payments
From the home screen, tap Payments.

Select your card and enter details
Choose the card, payment amount, date, and bank account.

Review and tap Submit. You’ll see an instant confirmation.

Go to the Guest Pay page
Visit https://www.citi.com/pay.

Enter your card details
Provide your card number, ZIP code, and SSN for verification.

Add bank information
Enter the routing and account number of the bank account you want to pay from.

Submit payment
Choose your amount and date, then submit. Save the confirmation number.
Setting Up AutoPay
Avoid late fees by scheduling automatic payments.1
Sign in to Citi Online
Log in and go to Payments → AutoPay.

Choose payment amount
Select minimum due, statement balance, or a fixed amount.

Choose payment date
Typically the statement due date.

Link your bank account
Select the account you want AutoPay to draw from.

Activate AutoPay
Review the terms and confirm. AutoPay begins with your next billing cycle.
Payment Tips
Pay Before the Due Date
Submit payments at least 1–2 business days before the due date to allow for processing.
Pay More Than the Minimum
Paying more than the minimum reduces interest charges and pays off debt faster.
Enable Alerts
Turn on due date and payment confirmation alerts in the app.
Keep Records
Save confirmation numbers and email receipts for at least a year.
