- The last 4 digits of your SSN
- Your date of birth
- Your Citi Online User ID and Password (or be ready to enroll)
- A secure internet connection or phone line
Method 1: Activate Online at Citi.com/Activate

Sign in or enroll
Enter your Citi Online User ID and Password. New users can click Register to create an account using their card number and personal details.
Enter card information
Provide the following exactly as shown on your card:
- 16-digit card number
- Expiration date
- 3-digit CVV (back of card)
Your card is now ready for in-store, online, and mobile wallet purchases.

After activation, set or update your card PIN:Create your PIN
Choose a 4-digit PIN that’s easy to remember but hard to guess. Avoid birthdays or repeating digits.
